We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our leadership team as we embark on the next stage of our growth. This is a highly autonomous role that will balance strategic decision making with hands-on delivery.<\/p>\n
This is ideally a part-time role. Our previous Head of Finance worked 25 hours a week. We anticipate this role is 25-30 hours per week, but perhaps transitioning to full-time hours in the future?<\/p>\n
You\u2019ll be managing a small team of 3 & will hold full responsibility for our finance operations, across the UK & Spain. Turnover is circa \u00a36M pa, with a plan to grow at over 20% year-on-year. You will be providing the financial leadership as we continue on our journey.<\/p>\n
hireful is a technology company that develops cloud-based recruitment software (Applicant Tracking System or ATS) aimed at small to medium sized businesses in the UK. Alongside our software we also offer training and recruitment services.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re based in the Northamptonshire countryside, about 5 miles south of Wellingborough. We offer hybrid working but would need you in the office 1-2 days per week.<\/p>\n
What will you be doing:<\/p>\n
Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy.
\nProvide strategic financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support informed decision-making
\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
\nEnsure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, reporting requirements, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
\nManage key financial supplier relationships e.g. auditors, finance companies, investors etc.
\nCash flow management.
\nTeam leadership – lead and develop the finance team.<\/p>\n
What experience are we looking for:<\/p>\n
Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally for a similar sized \/ slightly larger company.
\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA would be awesome.
\nThe desire to grow into a CFO role, if you’re not already there.
\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\nPrevious experience working for a company focused on high growth, ideally Private Equity backed.
\nPrevious experience running the finance operations for multi-national businesses \u2013 desirable, but not essential.
